Join us for the Jake Tallon 47 Strong Soccer Tournament, a day dedicated to honoring Jake’s life, his love for soccer, and the strength of community that continues to carry his legacy forward.

This tournament brings players, families, and supporters together for a day of competition, connection, and remembrance. All proceeds support the mission of the Jake Tallon 47 Strong Foundation, helping continue Jake’s living legacy through youth programs, community support, and the sport he loved most.

Registrations opens: April 27, 2026, and closes May 15, 2026

Format:
7v7 Soccer Tournament

Divisions:
Boys, girls or mixed-Birth years 2010-2016

Team Size:
Minimum 7 players
Maximum 10 players

Check-In Time:
Teams should check in at least 45 minutes before their first scheduled game.

First Games Begin:
8:00 AM

Number of Games
The number of games will be determined by the total number of teams entered in each age group. Each age group will have a maximum of six teams.

Teams will earn two points for a win and one point for a tie. Final standings and placement games will be determined based on the number of teams entered.

Game Length
Games will consist of two 15-minute halves with a brief halftime. Game lengths may be adjusted slightly depending on the number of teams entered and the final tournament schedule.

Awards:
Medals will be awarded to championship teams in each division.

Referees:
All games will be officiated by certified referees.

Schedules:
Game schedules will be emailed to coaches several days before the tournament.

Weather Policy
The tournament will take place rain or shine. In the event that weather conditions are determined to be unsafe for play, the tournament will be canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Entry fees for the tournament will be considered a donation to the Jake Tallon 47 Strong Foundation, and no refunds will be issued. All registered players will receive a tournament jersey in appreciation for their donation.

Team Acceptance:
If more teams register than available spots, teams will be accepted in the order that completed registrations and payments are received. A team is not considered fully registered until the Google form is complete and payment has been made. 

Jake Tallon Award
In honor of Jake’s spirit and love for the game, a Jake Tallon Award will be presented in each age group.

Throughout the tournament, designated judges will observe players during games and identify one player from each age group who best represents the qualities that defined Jake. This special award recognizes a player who demonstrates hard work, dedication, resilience, relentless effort, and outstanding sportsmanship.

The Jake Tallon Award is meant to celebrate more than skill — it honors the heart, determination, and character that make the game of soccer so meaningful.

Team Registration Fee:
$447.00 per team

Teams are responsible for bringing their own uniforms.

Uniforms:

• Teams should wear white shirts. Tournament staff will provide pennies to differentiate teams during games.

Required Gear:

• Shin guards are required
• Soccer cleats are required
• Goalkeepers must wear appropriate goalkeeper gear

Players should bring:

• Water bottle
• Soccer ball for warmups
• Sunscreen and weather-appropriate gear

Concessions will be available throughout the day.

This tournament is more than just soccer—it is a celebration of Jake’s life and the strength of the community that surrounds his legacy.

We ask all players, coaches, and families to:

• Show respect to referees and opponents
• Encourage good sportsmanship
• Support one another on and off the field
